Leather.head is a band comprised of siblings Toby, Josh & Aidan alongside close friends Charlie & Cole. They make raw, politically charged, genre-bending music with varying instrumentation and a self-taught, DIY ethic.
The first single from their debut album mud again ‘world.building’ released 23.10.25 with a visualiser made by film maker (and fourth Evans-Jesra sibling) RealityBreakdown. And a statement from the band:
“Burn the flags, destroy the factories, never forgive, never forget.”
You won't find the album on Spotify. Here the band explain their reasoning:
“Fuck Spotify, fuck billionaires. All streaming services are bad for musicians,
Spotify is bad for humanity. We ‘re aware we are a very small band with a small
following but we don’t want to normalise the connection between music and AI
war machines. It’s only normal if you let it be. Find our music on other streaming
services, Bandcamp, Ninaprotocol, buy it if you can - if you can’t afford it but
want the files just email us we will send it to you. L.H."
