Irked the band from Tyne & Wear last played for me back in good ol’ HATCH in 2024. They absolutely kicked arse. And they have continued to do so up and down the country -playing with the likes of Uranium Club, Part Chimp, Benefits, Hey Colossus and Swami John Reis as well as festivals like Manchester Punk Festival, NOISE ANNOYS, Clamlines, Wrong Speed Fest, Twisterella, Summer Streets and Rock Against Racism. Their enthusiasm for being in a band is genuine and infectious.

... which bring us to the present day (Fri 1st May 2026)when they release their debut LP - The Grievance. I’m listening to it right now! 14 tracks of pure unadulterated joy & piss.

One or two tracks scrape over the three minute mark but it’s a smash and grab! Rocket fuel, dynamite, all that jazz!

Solderer are a band from Leeds who if you don't know them will be an excellent surprise. And if you do you probably saw them at HATCH when I put them on with Top Shortage
